Mom and Dad's Ahmedabad

This is the historic wall (at least for our family) of The Gujarat University, where dad proposed mom,

and she said yes (obviously).

Very intelligent judgment from both of them, I must admit.

The Gujarat University, which is the parent university of my parents' colleges, L. D. College of Engineering and L. D. College of Arts. This university produces nothing but the geniuses. Believe me.
Dad's Chemical Engineering Department. I didn't see either chemical or engineering there, but then again, it was Sunday.

The "C" block of L. D. hostel where Nandlalkaka had a room. Dad says that he has very fond memories of C block, but he won't say what are they.

This might become my favorite place on the planet. The Parimal Garden, where mom and dad used to meet. Dad claims that they met there because it's a very romantic place, but my guess is that they met there because he didn't have any money to take mom to restaurant or movies. By the way, you do have to admit that it's a very happy place. Just look at me.

I found the bench where mom and dad used to sit. Dad said that it was one of the most comfortable benches in the world. I guess when you're in love, a stone bench may seem like a leather sofa.
No, we were not looking at a pretty girl,

We were looking at a squirrel.

Mom hasn't stopped smiling since dad proposed her. I guess, contrary to popular belief, it doesn't take a lot to make a girl happy.

After all said and done, Parimal Garden is an excellent place to plan your life. Just look at the above pictures.
